Massage, Sports Therapist and rehabilitation Co-ordinator

Ms Gemma Maw, BSc, MSST, is a member of the Society of Sports Therapy in the UK. She is a graduate from Teesside UniversityMiddlesbrough where she gained experience in the university sports injury clinic.

She currently works with the Chesterfiled Chiropractic Clinic in her roles as masseuse, sports therapist and rehabilitation co-ordinator. Although an autonomous practitioner in her own right, in all three roles she works closely with her chiropractic colleagues in the treatment and management of the clinic’s patients. Her expertise is utilised by many of our patients, some of whom refer themselves to her directly for a relaxing and beneficial massage.

Her interests include sports injuries in the old and young, musculoskeletal injuries of the knee, elbow and shoulder, and spinal and peripheral joint rehabilitation which she supervises in the Clinic’s rehabilitation gym.
