The Doctor title used by our chiropractors denotes that they are Doctor’s of Chiropractic (DC), and not medical practitioners. They have undergone a minimum of 5-6 years of accredited, university and post-graduate training in the care and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. All our chiropractors are qualified to international accepted standards, have completed a postgraduate registration training scheme and are members of the British Chiropractic Association.
Dr Lee Ayers BSc (Hons) MCC MChiro DC
Dr Lee Ayres BSc (Hon), MChiro, MCC, DC is a graduate of the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic where he, like his colleagues studied in a 5 year undergraduate programme to become a chiropractor.
As well as his interest in general practice, he has since his graduation shown a special interest in sports medicine in general, but especially the treatment of football and rugby injuries and has regularly treated players from the Chesterfield Football Club, as well as other athletes.
He is qualified to use medical acupuncture/myofascial dry needling, which he uses during the treatment of musculoskeletal complaints, as well as within his sports medicine clinic. Dr Lee Ayers, consults at our Chesterfield and Hope clinics where he covers both his general practice and sports injuries clinics.
