The Doctor title used by our chiropractors denotes that they are Doctor’s of Chiropractic (DC), and not medical practitioners. They have undergone a minimum of 5-6 years of accredited, university and post-graduate training in the care and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. All our chiropractors are qualified to international accepted standards, have completed a postgraduate registration training scheme and are members of the British Chiropractic Association.
Dr Victoria Cartwright BSc (Hons) DC MEAC
Dr Victoria Cartwright is a graduate of the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, a faculty of the University of Glamorgan and is a member of the European Academy of Chiropractic. She has consulted from our clinics since then.
As well as her keen interest in general practice, she has since her graduation shown a special interest in the paediatric care of children and infants as well as in the care of pregnant and post partum women. She feels strongly that females should retain the support for their functional health, not only throughout the pregnancy but beyond.
Dr Cartwright is also qualified to use medical acupuncture/myofascial dry needling, which she uses during the treatment of musculoskeletal complaints, and when appropriate, within her paediatric and well women clinics. Dr Cartwright consults in Chesterfield and Buxton and is always available to offer advice and care.
